Yup, this is the only baby stuff we have. Go ahead and scold me.
Let’s see, how do we put this? I have a scheduled induction this Monday, the 24th. So that gives us 6 days until this baby is here, if not sooner. My doctor said she wanted to induce me because even though the amniotic fluid is still at an ok level, it’s kind of low, and the baby is getting big fast. So she is inducing me a week early. Which I have no complaints about.
Well my only complaint is, this is all we have ready for baby. It has completly slipped my mind that we have an actual live baby coming, at anytime! Sure, you’re thinking, How could you forget when you’re carrying it around Stepfanie??
I thought I’ve read something about losing your memory when you’re pregnant. Let’s blame this on that one.
The truth is we have been so busy and worried about all different things, it hasn’t dawned on either of us the reality of that if we go to the hospital,when we get home, we’d have to go straight to Target to go get stuff for the baby.
At least yesterday it hit me, and I went out and bought the baby carseat. I figured we need that NOW because if we go to the hospital, they won’t let us leave.
I also have yet to decide whether I am going to be breastfeeding this one or going with bottle feeding, or possibly doing both.
Oh, and the biggy …. have yet to pick out a name! :-/

How exciting! I am sure the stuff will start rolling in. Perhaps it is time to throw a baby shower? One of these days I will have to pick your brain about your freelancing work. I learn a great deal from other writers.

Isn’t it funny how with the first one it is ALL ABOUT THE BABY. Life revolves around being pregnant. Second one, life gets a little busier…not so on top of the list anymore. Third, forget it!

Aww I can’t believe it’s just about time!!! All babies really need is a loving family, some form of food, diapers & a pacifier. :] At least, that’s all Shane needed. You’ll be just fine, mama! You’ve done this before anyway.

Don’t stress to much. It’s a marketing ploy that companies push that we need so many more things for a baby than we actually need. lol. I was more organised with my first child than the next ones, but still she came a month early, and we just weren’t ready. But she was still ok…
With my second and third children, we bought even less things, and it was funny, they had everything they needed. But I hope you feel more organised too, I know how important it is to feel that you have things ready as you want them.
